Rep. Keeley: Scholarships Available to Students

For college-bound students, finding scholarships can be a difficult process. Below are several scholarships with fast-approaching application deadlines. Additional information and applications for any of these scholarships can be located on Naviance/Scholarships.

  • Links Incorporated ScholarshipDeadline 2/28 – College bound African American high school seniors in need of financial assistance. 
  • Samuel A. Green ScholarshipDeadline 2/28 – Essay or video presentation of no more than 250 words on “How my college education will help me cultivate prosperity in my neighborhood/community."
  • Certified School Nurses’ Association of Bucks CountyDeadline 3/1 – Senior student planning to become a registered nurse.  Student must have been accepted in an accredited school of nursing. 
  • Hermine Solt Student ScholarshipDeadline 3/1 – Pennsylvania high school senior who is pursuing higher education in a business related field (secretarial, office technology, accounting and business). 
  • Lions District 14A ScholarshipDeadline 3/1 - High school senior attending a post-secondary institution and who has vision, hearing or physical impairment. 
  • Pennsylvania House Scholarship ProgramDeadline 3/1 – Open to all college-bound seniors with a 3.0 cumulative GPA, who plan to attend a Pennsylvania college, university or professional training school on a full-time basis. 
  • Kohl’s Cares Scholarship ProgramDeadline 3/7 - Visit Naviance/Scholarship for more details with regards to this scholarship.   
  • Beverly M. Miller ScholarshipDeadline 3/15 – College bound female senior who demonstrates educational merit and commitment to the community. 
  • Hugh Carcella (United Steelworkers) Scholarship – Deadline 3/15 – College bound senior who is the son or daughter or legal ward of a member of a United Steelworkers of America Union District 10 (Eastern), based on grades and SATs. 
  • M. Verna Butterer Educational Trust Deadline 3/15 – For Bucks County residents who demonstrate financial need and want to pursue a post high school education.  Visit Naviance/Scholarship for more details with regards to this scholarship. 
  • Sabre STEM Scholarship Deadline 3/21 – Engineering and Math (STEM) Scholarship is designed to support graduating high school seniors planning to further their education in one of the STEM disciplines.  One scholarship will be awarded to a student who is a US citizen, has a min. 3.25 GPA, is enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program, planning to pursue an undergraduate degree in science, technology, engineering or math. 
  • American Heritage Federal Credit Scholarship Deadline 3/24 - $1,000 community scholarship to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a post-secondary institution.  Applicants must be members of American Heritage Federal Credit Union.  Essay required. 
  • Delaware Valley School Business Officials (DVASBO) Scholarship – Deadline 3/31 – High school senior pursuing a career in business.  Must attend at least a 2 year post-high school academic or vocational program.
