Rep. Andria Bennett' End-of-Year Update

Dear Neighbor,

I hope this message finds you well!

As we gather with friends and family this season, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate our achievements and those of our loved ones, and contemplate the challenges that await us in the coming year.

I continue to be honored and proud to represent you and all my neighbors in the General Assembly. This year, I am pleased to report that my colleagues and I made important progress on a variety of issues that will impact the lives of people across our state every day, including:

And, just last week, the 32nd District marked a milestone with the dedication of the new Delaware State Police Troop 3 facility near Magnolia. This new building, a long overdue upgrade from the small, outdated and unsafe structure near Camden, will be a wonderful home for the Troopers of Kent County for years to come.

Looking ahead to the second leg of the 148th General Assembly in 2016, I’m hopeful that my fellow legislators and I can work cooperatively to meet the challenges we will face in our state’s finances, our schools, our criminal justice system and the agencies that provide vital services to Delaware’s most vulnerable residents.

As always, I welcome your input on the issues most important to you and your family. Please feel free to reach out to me whenever you have concerns, questions, or if you just want to update me about something happening in our community.

From my family to yours, best wishes for a merry Christmas, happy New Year and a joyous holiday season.

Sincerely,

Andria Bennett
