Helene M. Keeley

State Representative, 3rd District

Helene M. Keeley is a member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing the 3rd District since 1996. She currently serves as a member of the Capital Infrastructure Committee, Vice Chair of the Gaming & Pari-mutuels Committee, and Vice-Chair of the Revenue & Finance Committee. Keeley has worked as a marketing specialist with the Delaware Department of Labor, and project manager with Rosenbluth International. Keeley serves on the Board of Directors for Westside Health, Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center, St. Patrick's Day Society Board, and American Council of Young Political Leaders. She is a member of the New Deal National Democratic Leadership and is the current Board Member and State Director for the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL). She is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business - Richman Center Executive Education Program. She resides with her husband, Michael Green, in Wilmington.

Representative Helene Keeley has taken an active role in championing important legislation through the Delaware General Assembly, including the Medical Marijuana Act and the improved Driving Under the Influence (DUI) laws. She worked to establish the needle exchange program in the City of Wilmington and the state wide Foreclosure Mediation program to assist homeowners facing foreclosure. She is currently working to regulate pay day loans in the state.
