S. Quinton "Quinn" Johnson

State Representative, 8th District

Rep. S. Quinton “Quinn” Johnson is a member of the Delaware House of Representatives for the 8th District, which includes the greater Middletown area. He was elected as the 8th District representative in November 2008. He serves as co-chair of the Joint Bond Bill Committee, vice chair of the House Agriculture Committee, and is a member of the House Economic Development Committee, Gaming and Parimutuels Committee, Health and Human Development Committee, Natural Resources Committee, Revenue and Finance Committee, and Veterans Affairs Committee. He is also a chair of the Special Needs Subcommittee, and a member of the Kids Caucus, the Small Business Caucus, and the Delaware Sea Level Rise, and Flood Plain and Storm Water Management committees.

Rep. Johnson has owned Tender Loving Kare Child Care and Learning Center with his wife, Julie, since 1994. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the Salisbury State University Perdue School of Business.

Rep. Johnson is a member of the Peoples Plaza Merchant Association, the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce and the Appoquinimink School District Board of Education Advisory Committee. He was formerly a coach with the MOT Soccer Club and a team sponsor with the M.O.T. Little League. He also participated on the Hodgson Vocational Technical High School Senior Project Committee and was active with the Coopers Run Civic Association.

Rep. Johnson resides in Middletown with his family.
